2011 Research and Education Center for Prevention of Global Infectious Diseases of Animals, Faculty of Agriculture, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology Established
Junshi SHIRAI was appointed as Director of the Center.
2012 Tetsuya MIZUTANI was appointed as Deputy Director.
2014 Tetsuya MIZUTANI was appointed as Director of the Center.
Ryoichi YAMAZAKI was appointed as Deputy Director.
2015 Tsutomu ARIE was appointed as Deputy Director.
2018 Establishment of four universities as a consortium for industrial animal quarantine (University of Miyazaki, Tottori University, Kagoshima University, and our university)
Participation in the kick-off meeting of the Consortium for Industrial Animal Quarantine
2019 Seven-university industrial animal quarantine consortium symposium held
2020 Tomomi TANAKA was appointed as Deputy Director.
Branch laboratory established at Bogor Agricultural University.
Participation in the eight-university industrial animal quarantine consortium symposium
2021 Name changed from “Research and Education Center for Prevention of Global Infectious Diseases of Animals” to “Center for Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Prevention Research”.
Reorganized the Planning and Coordination Division into the Management Unit.
The Division of Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases was reorganized into the Future Epidemiology Research Unit.
The Division of Animal Infectious Diseases and the Division of Economic Analysis of Livestock Infectious Diseases were reorganized into the Crisis Management Unit.
